Chapter 21: Chapter 21: She Was Too Big

Melinda couldn’t believe that Caleb was carrying her to her bedroom. No one had carried her since she was child. Carl had always complained that she weighed too much. That had left out shower sex, too, something Melinda had always wanted to experience.

In Caleb’s arms, she felt petite, but safe. Not that she needed safe. She could take care of herself. No one messed with the big girls.

She nipped at his neck as he carried her. “You’re so fucking strong.”

He chuckled. It rumbled up from the depths of his sexy body. He was muscled. She couldn’t imagine he had an ounce of fat on his body. Why did he find her attractive? He could have any woman he wanted.

“Don’t think too much,” he said.

Could he hear her thoughts? She should stop thinking. She wanted him naked. That she knew.

He laid her on the bed as if she were fine china. He stood, looking over her. “You are so damned sexy.”
