Chapter 106: Caught in the act

My heart was pounding, each beat echoing louder and faster as I stared at Lise's lips. They were so close, and the more I looked, the more I wanted to kiss her. Her eyes, wide and filled with the same mixture of confusion and longing, mirrored my own feelings. I could almost feel the warmth radiating from her, drawing me in like a magnet.
