Beautifully Strange

A demon named Kai has a chance encounter with a human child while escaping a bitterly betrayed prince. As she helped him recover the two grew close. Saving him in more ways than one. Years later, it is now his turn to save her. But things are not as simple. The strings of fate have been twisted and new challenges lie before them.

Together will they be able to heal one another? Or, will they be the death of each other?

"Hi, my name is Ben." She smiled at him.

"F-fuck off kid." He groaned clutching his side.

"Ooo you said a bad word."

"Fu-ah!" His side bled out more.

"Here." The little girl puts her bag down and takes out a pair of scissors.

She takes off her long sleeve and cuts it up into long strips. Without hesitation she begins to wrap the strips around the demon's torso. He winces in pain staring at her.

"Aren't you afraid of me?"

"No. Why would I be?"

"Because I'm a demon."

She ties the strip tightly and looks up to him smiling.

"But aren't we all."
