Chapter 4: More Blood!(lines)

As I woke up, I stretched my body out, ruining the makeshift hut. I got up and decided to hunt. I crept around the forest floor, looking for unsuspecting prey. I walked and found myself in a clearing. In the middle of the clearing there was a black draconic creature about the size of a pickup truck. I could tell that it had a very strong body, but the system told me it's Qi was weak at this stage. I filled my fangs and claws with teeth and lunges at the unsuspecting dragon. It immediately jumped back and roared. A stream of flame came out of its mouth towards me as I dodged to the right and brought my claws to a vein in its throat before slashing. It all happened in an instant. Fire started spewing from the hole before the dragon shut off its fire and started to drown its own blood. It lunged at me as it lost consciousness, and I barely managed to escape getting crushed. I told the system to change my form to the dragon's, before starting to consume the other dragon. I could sense a Fire in my body that I can release through my mouth. I pointed my head upward and spewed flames.

I remembered I had a quest to do: find and kill the monsters terrorizing the nearby village. I flew to the edge of the forest near the village before changing back to my original form. I walked up to a kid and asked kindly"Where is your village leader?" The kid pointed toward an old brick building in the middle of town.

As I made my way to the house, I decided to see what realm I'm in, so I asked the system.

[Host is in skin tempering 4th realm and Qi gathering 5th realm]

"That clears things up" I thought to myself as I reached the building and knocked."Anybody home?" I asked. The door was pulled back to reveal an old man with a somber expression. "I'm here for the extermination if monsters" I told him. He gained a delighted look on his face."The monsters are flame pigeons, they've been terrorizing us for weeks!"

"I'll take care of it" I told him as I walked towards the direction the map from the sect pointed out. I was just supposed to do this as courtesy. As the birds were in the forest, I reached the edge and turned into the dragon, which was a midnight flame dragon. The system told me Dragonfire is much more powerful than normal Fire so I wasn't worried. I reached the clearing with the birds and started shooting flame at nearby ones, then they all stared to swarm me. I laughed for a second then started to spew a midnight-black flame that quickly spread through the crowd of birds, completely annihilating them.

[Flame Pigeon Bloodline absorbed]

It might be useful later, so I absorbed it before turning back into a human and returning to the village.

As I reached the village inn, I asked for a room for a night on behalf of my services. They relented and gave me one, so I walked up the stairs to the allotted room and jumped on the bed, almost immediately falling asleep.
