The Black Sun's poison had already worked into her system, wreaking havoc in her body.
"Black Sun, Dark Spirit Intimidation," Shen Fei continued. The Black Sun, once it had retrieved its tail hook, swung it at the woman in black and released a black mist.
"Aargh..." The Black Shadow let out a shrill scream. She felt a sharp pain in her head, like her soul was about to be torn apart. She could only lie on the ground and curl up into a ball.
Shen Fei coldly stood to the side, quietly waiting for the Black Shadow to recover.
This woman had obviously encountered an unfortunate experience and was somewhat mentally deranged, so her attacks were completely based on instinct and were unpredictable.
Not long after, the Black Shadow slowly got up. Her face was filled with hatred once more, and her red eyes were even bleeding. She glared at Shen Fei with her cold and vicious eyes. Her body exuded an evil aura, like a vengeful spirit.
The traditional preparation of gu poison involved sealing several venomous creatures (e.g., centipede, snake, scorpion) inside a closed container, where they devoured one another and allegedly concentrated their toxins into a single survivor, whose body would be fed upon by larvae until consumed. The last surviving larva held the complex poison. Gu was used in black magic practices such as manipulating sexual partners, creating malignant diseases, and causing death. (Source: Wikipedia *ahem*)
