"Whatever that sound may be, it only implies one thing, a battle," Gareth said, his eyes narrowing as he gazed into the distance.

Peter's curiosity was piqued. "But what sort of battle would produce such scary sounds?" He stood up, his eyes fixed on Gareth's.

Gareth's gaze locked onto Peter's, and he noticed the familiar fire burning in his eyes. "You're planning to go there?" he asked, his voice laced with a mix of concern and understanding.

Peter's determination was palpable. "Yes, I need to know why I was betrayed and also teach that Lord Richter a lesson." His anger over the villagers' betrayal still simmered, and his eyes flashed with a fierce light.

Gareth nodded thoughtfully. "I see. Well, if you're determined to go, you should know that there are other mages in the Lowlands." He paused, his eyes glinting with a hint of mystery. "Actually, they all work for Magmon."
