VALENCIA'S POV

"You are here," Alina said and I looked at the alpha who immediately raised his face slightly, his gaze locking with mine, making me blush immediately.

"How are you feeling?" He asked me and I nodded, feeling even hotter after Alina said those kinds of words.

It was almost as if I was exposed or something.

"I am good. You?" I asked, feeling awkward, and he raised his brows as if not expecting me to act like this.

I sat in my seat and looked at Carl, who looked at my hand.

"Were those deep wounds?" He asked me and Alpha looked at my hands, probably smelling the scent of the disinfectant and healing ointment now that Carl mentioned it.

However, he did not ask me anything.

"He wants to take you on a date," Alina whispered into my ears, and though her words were barely audible, I knew Alpha Maverick could hear her pretty clearly because of his alpha hearing.
