Chapter 239: No Skills

VALENCIA'S POV

I walked to the so-called training fields and looked at all the weapons displayed, scoffing when my favorite bow and arrow were absent. 

"Did you not hear my choice of weapon?" I asked Carl who was responsible for arranging things. 

The man turned to look at me before taking a deep breath and looking behind me at someone. 

'He indeed heard your choice. It was me who denied it," Uncle Jonathan walked ahead. 

I furrowed my brows. 

"Reason?" 

"It's a close-range fight, Valencia. Do you think you will be able to counter the guards with bows and arrows? Think carefully," He said. 

I had thought it through. It wasn't hard for me to tackle these guards with bows and arrows. I have practiced a lot for it. 

Though my practice was always about taking revenge on Alpha Tyler and destroying the Hazel Moon pack, that didn't mean I wasn't serious about this training. 

However, I didn't want to argue with him.
