Man, this oven's hot
hello! I am a bagel or more specifically, a blueberry bagel and I live in an ordinary bakery... well almost ordinary.
you see, in the world that I live in I am no ordinary bagel but instead, a bagel that posseses elemental traits
the reason for this is that certain 'magical' bakers are able to infuse specific types of Mana into their dough through some sort of magical magic whatever (I'm freshly baked, don't judge me)
making the finished product infused with magic energy which allows it to provide a boost to the consumer's affinity of that specific type of magic.
now, getting back to me, I am a wind-type-bagel. my affinity is not commonly used due to the fact that wind magic is the easiest to learn in this grand world however, those who were not born with magic, (but are still interested) people who are poor at magic, or even some people who like the feeling of mana commonly eat us to get a good start in becoming a mage/getting a "high".
but as you can probably tell this is quite unfortunate for me as I am that bagel and am currently being brought to the counte-
hold on, am i reading this correctly? I'm already about to be eaten? but the story just begun! what kind of a crap author is this! aren't i supposed to have plot armor or something? give me a second I need to add something real quick...
just then, the auth- customer trips and the contents of the bag they were carrying (me) falls onto the pavement luckily, the person who bought doesn't believe in the five second rule. how wasteful!
needless to say, my luck has saved the day!
