After staying in Katherine's place for a while, they bid farewell.
Chase still didn't know what to say about his mother's story.
Nor did he know how to make Amanda love him.
After all, he only asked for a favor to make her his girlfriend.
He is troubled when she decides to leave.
"That went smoothly." Amanda said.
He knows where this conversation would lead them.
"Thanks." He smiled,
"No prob. I can do anything for my boyfriend." Amanda grinned.
Boyfriend.
Chase smiled.
'Did she mean it or just trying to make me feel better?' Chade thought.
"I can help you with yours." He winked,
"Nah. I finished the job already." Amanda replied,
"So what are you gonna do?" Chase asked,
"Still haven't decided. In the meantime, I'll just hang out with you or maybe expand business." Amanda pursed her lips.
"I still have business with my uncle." Chase exhales sharply,
Amanda stared at him as his eyes were on the road.
"If you ever need me. Just say it and I'll help you." She said,
"Sure."

To her, time went by so fast.
She brought the devils in her past to hell.
Now that it's settled.
She thinks about settling in.
But she thought about Chase.
She thought of how it'd turn out if she stays with him.
Will he turn out to be like Edmund?
Or will he become the right one for her.
The thoughts circled her mind.
What if it's going to be the same?
Would fate be even cruel to make her suffer still?
Maybe she should've stayed away.
"Baby, in this world, good and bad are intertwined. You can never tell the person's true colors by glance and theories. It is why we bet our lives to stay with someone we love, unsure of what unfolds." She remembers her mother said it.
She thinks he's right for her.
But she doesn't want to suffer again.
After all, she did think the same way with Edmund.
What if he does the same?
