Walking upstairs to her room, Amanda checked the hidden surveillance camera on her phone. She remembered her mother, Selene, used to plant hidden surveillance cameras. She only told Amanda and her father (Nicholas Auriga) about it.
Before Amanda arrived home, she connected the cameras to her phone to watch every movement they do.
Amanda's room is located on the fourth floor of the mansion. Her mother Selene, arranged it for her. It was the most luxurious room of all the mansion. Her mother used to spoil her before she died in her past life.
Ring, Ring
Her phone rang.
She answered it.
"Why aren't you replying to my texts!!" Vidia yelled
"Do you know how long I waited?!"
"Sorry. Just had to run into some trouble." Amanda replied apologizing.
Vidia is her childhood best friend. Her father runs a design company that produces high-quality clothes. Amanda's mother and Vidia's father have been very good friends and business partners.
"Oh. I just heard your father's been cheating with another lady." Vidia stated
"I know. You're late informed." Amanda chuckled
"Why are you so calm? You're up to something, are you? Tell me about it."
"Not now V. I'm tired."
"Okay. I'm coming to your place Thursday next week and you're going to puke everything." Vidia insisted
"Yeah. Bye." Amanda replied yawning and hung up.
In her past life, Amanda had been set up that broke her friendship with Vidia. Since then, they never saw each other again.
'Good to see her again' Amanda smiled.
After taking a bath, she immediately went to her bed to sleep.
"Amanda!" Her father called.
She put on her headphones and went downstairs.
She went to the dining room and saw Sabrina preparing food while Shannon arranged the table.
"Dad, why are the guests here?" Amanda asked
"They're not guests. They're your family." Her father replied
Just as Amanda was about to say something, her father insisted,
"They are family members and they are staying here."
"What makes them family members?" Amanda asked stubbornly
"I told you, I'm marrying Sabrina" Her father ended up the conversation.
Everyone sat at the table as Sabrina finished preparing the dishes.
"I made this specially for everyone. I hope you all like it." Sabrina announced.
Amanda's wristwatch alarmed.
"I'll excuse myself." She stood,
"Where are you going?" Simeon asked,
"Uncle Harrison invited me to their place. I'll be up late"
With that, she left.
Ding, dong!
She rang the doorbell.
