The mere fact that there were cultivators didn't really astonish him, since his time on earth, he had felt that there were certain places where the Spiritual Qi in the surrounding was more than enough if one wanted to break the shackles of the mortal cultivation.

One had to know that the Earth was present in the mortal realm, and so, the highest power that it could withstand for holding a cultivator would be someone at the Peak of the Immortal realm, the moment one broke through the peak barrier, the laws of the world would sense the presence of someone which it could not hold and the person would be then made to leave the world and arrive in a higher realm which was the Lesser heavens.

And the same went for the Lesser Heavens or the Greater Heavens.
