Chapter 98: Conditions

"Please sit down," the dragon shifter said to Lu Meili as she entered the bare room that only had two chairs and a table, before leaving her alone and shutting the heavy metal door. 

'Like the low-quality metal will stop me.' Lu Meili thought to herself with a smirk. Yes, she could not use her magic, but that did not mean she could not use external help.  

The place looked like an interrogation room. It did not have a window to look outside nor a full glass window that would let the people from the other side see or hear anything within the room. 

Lu Meili sat on one of the chairs comfortably despite the magical chains that were tying up both of her hands as she waited for the dragon king and her mate who seemed to be having a small discussion outside the room.
