While in the midst of his escape, Veer decided to address his wounded shoulder. He directed his internal energy towards the site of Tejas' attack, immediately sensing an itching sensation as his energy engaged the wound. The bleeding ceased, and the wound began to heal, but Veer noticed something troubling – the process consumed a substantial amount of his internal energy.
Recognizing the need to preserve his internal energy for the impending confrontation, Veer halted the healing process, letting the wound remain stable. Turning his attention to his aching back, a result of the Whip Warrior's assault, Veer directed his internal energy there as well. After a time, he sensed the burning sensation diminishing, prompting him to cease the flow of internal energy once more.
