Chapter 1: A Failure End or..

A man ran through a dense forest while looking back between intervals, the distance between, him and the pursuers who madly chased after him had begun to shorten.

They were chasing after him to snatch away the clue, about an upgrade that he had managed to acquire after researching a book for days. He founded the book in the last chasm/dungeon.

Skills kept getting spammed at him

Inferno Ball

Aura Lance

Curse of Slowness

The effect of the potions that he consumed while entering the forest has started to lose their effectiveness. He attempted to buff himself using every single point of MP remaining dumping them into his remaining skills.

Motion Fluidness, Wat...

The man cried "Aaaaaaaaah" as he was about to cast his second buff spell, one of his arms had been ripped off by the night hound of a summoner. Looking back, he caught a glimpse of the beast savoring on his arm like a dog to a bone.

At last, everything came to an end, when the Guild leader of the Zephyr Clan sliced his legs off with the Wind Blade spell.

The man fell and rolled around on the ground for a while as a result of his momentum.

Soon he stopped and facing the dark sky, he shouted "Whyyy".

The answer came "Shut up. What's the point in talking to a dead man just give up the book and wish that in your next life, you can be born as a human. Kekeke"

The man looked at his opponent's face and wanted to cry with all the pain he was suffering from but the memories made with his dead friends came into his mind which turned his tears into a burst of maniacal laughter and going in for a last-ditch effort he said menacingly " System! Delete everything from my inventory a.."

Before he could say a further word his head was chopped off by the Guild Master and the sound of the falling head echoed in the forest.

The last thought that came into his mind was about 10 years ago when he could have been a world genius if not for that accident.

Since the man was engaged in combat, not all of his belongings were removed to avoid being unjust to other players. The discard feature of the system operated in an equally equitable manner for all players.

The loot fell off from his body glittering in a rainbow of hues. Nobody knows if the object the man wished to avoid the Guild leader's grasp was erased by chance or for some other reason. The angered guild leader kept thrashing the dead body of the man like a pile of dirt while cursing over his luck.
