I pulled back and stared deep into his eyes. "I want you."

Chance groaned again and tipped his head back to rest on the couch. "You have no idea how much I want you, but I'm not exactly in the best shape to please right now."

I looked down at his lap, then back to his face. I'd seen enough movies to know there were options here. "And what if I did all the work?"

"Oh lord, Ryann." He shook his head. "That's not how your first time should be. I want it to be perfect. I want to worship you."

"I think I should get a say in that." I glared at him.

His lips twitched. "Yes, yes, you probably should."

My hands came down, and I tugged on his belt.

Chance's eyes turned to liquid black flames, and his hands moved to grip my waist. "You'll have to go to my bedroom for a condom."

I shook my head. "I'm on birth control, and I've never been with anyone else."

Chance sucked in a sharp breath. "I haven't been with anyone in over a year, and I got tested."
