Chapter 22: Chapter 22: Long Yu II
As the weather warms up in March, even outside Dragon City, which is located on the border of the Eastern Continent, it is beginning to smell like spring.

One day, rumours of a resurgence of the plague in Dragon City suddenly spread and the crowds outside the city panicked. But despite the fact that a large number of people chose to go home, a huge crowd still gathered outside Dragon City.
With supplies scarce and some people running out of spare food and fuel, they had to wait for death outside the city since they couldn't get into Dragon City, meanwhile, Dragon City has abandoned its administration outside the city, so theft and robbery were commonplace.
Luckily, the Newton had enough food to keep everyone alive, but it had to keep its doors closed to avoid being targeted by the desperadoes.
The atmosphere on board the Newton has dropped to a freezing point and everyone looked gloomy with worry, too many changes have happened in the past month.
The first was the loss in the Rally.
On 8 February, the team lost again, and although the going over the Great Wall was ruled out, the process of collecting the equipment was still difficult.
On the eve of the Rally, the team had just finished a team task and were ready to go offline early to prepare for the next day's race when Long Yu showed up again.
Merry didn't know why, but she had an unprecedented dislike for this girl she had only met once. She was arrogant and condescending, her chin held high and the contemptuous look in her eyes when she spoke was disgusting.

As soon as the Rally started, all teams sped out of the start, but there were also those who were not in a hurry to speed up, probably also finding out the way of collecting the equipment and ready to take a chance.
Merry and her group of four slowed down at the turn and waited for the others around them to move away from the start before accelerating up and crossing over the Great Wall. There were many players on the track who didn't aim to win the race. Just as the dragonfly was about to cross the Wall, a string of green codes suddenly leapt from the wall, like a giant beast of indistinguishable shape, and as the string of codes pounced on the dragonfly, it transformed into a solid, colourful giant beast. The beast leapt at the dragonfly and twisted off its wings in a couple of strokes, leaving the dragonfly, which had just been a killer, floating fragilely down beside the track. Countless beasts leapt out on the Wall, tearing the airships that were ahead of Merry just now into pieces.
Seeing this, Merry immediately ordered everyone to fall back.
As the pieces flew from the sky and fell silently to the ground, Merry seemed to smell the smoke and mirrors. With such a tight defense, this way didn't seem to work, so the most reliable way to win now was to gather all the equipment and get to the finish line on time, as Long Yu said.
On the other side, Jason and the others were having a hard time getting to a certain point on time was already very difficult, and with the number of equipment appearing on time at each point not being unlimited, to obtain the equipment, they had to not only get to the equipment point on time, but also find a way to compete with the other players.

Once Jason lost his position, the equipment after him was also taken away.
But fortunately, the players who got the equipment later were also missing one or two equipment, so no one won for the time being. But the other players already had more or less information about the usefulness of the equipment, so the next Rally was bound to be more difficult.
After a lull of almost a month, the Attic World has once again sent out a notice about the first level, with a bonus attached, saying that the Attic World would be coordinating the upper levels of Dragon City, and any players gathered outside of Dragon City would be given the right to be the first to enter the city after winning the race. Players who were not outside the Dragon City or who did not have a need to enter Dragon City anytime soon, would receive a large reward along with the clue. The next Rally would be held a day later on March 11.
Such an offer was a great temptation for anyone and the pressure on the team increased.
"Merry, actually ... getting Long Yu to join us would really be the best option." Cici offered softly, like a blast of thunder, in the midst of the drowning silence on the Newton.
Merry did react greatly, and she jerked her head up to look at Cici, her eyes were red.
Cici's heart fluttered at her stare and she lowered her head.
Merry didn't make a sound, just got up and went to the rest area.
Just as everyone was at a loss for words, Merry gently opened the door of the rest area, "Contact her."
For a moment, the team didn't even understand what she meant, and when they did, Jason and Bob hugged each other in celebration! Even Master Wu, who was always unsmiling, looked relieved.
Merry closed the door to the room again and returned to the rest area. Outside the window, the wilderness was lit up with yellow lights everywhere, as if none of the chaos of the day existed, and a very appropriate poem lit up softly on the windowsill of the rest area: "Light is lit in a thousand tents late at night."
Dao had slipped into the rest area at some point and was leaning quietly against Merry.

Merry almost laughed out loud when she thought of Long Yu's competent look and associated it with a scruffy old lady.
