Chapter 4: 4.All-purpose potion

"Diana, is your magic not working?" Galen asked as he moved closer.

Diana shook her head, of the two primary healing magics she had mastered, none of them possessed a poison removal effect.

Diana looked towards Ivo's traveling bag and said, "There should be an antidote potion in Ivo's backpack, but there's a seal on it that belongs exclusively to him, so I can't open it."

Galen sniffed and reached out to grab Ivo's traveling bag, an invisible force then surfaced, preventing him from opening it.

"Your master is going to be gone, and you're still resisting!" Galen let out a low shout, and the muscles in his arms suddenly bulged.

With a ripping sound from Yu Buang, he hardened the traveling bag and ripped a hole in it, from which various props fell out.

"It's this one!" Diana picked up a lavender glass bottle.

Uncorking it poured the potion within onto Ivo's wound.

However, until the bottle of potion was all poured out, the black color at Ivo's neck didn't go away, only the expansion was briefly suppressed.

"How could this happen? This bottle of antidote potion is intermediate quality ..."

According to the speed at which the toxin was spreading, Ivo definitely wouldn't last long enough to return to the city to receive treatment.

"Try this bottle of mine, hopefully it hasn't expired yet."

Galen's traveling bag was not as advanced as Ivo's, and after opening it easily, Galen took out a bottle of potion from it.

The liquid in the bottle flowed with colorful hues, and at a glance, one could tell that it was not an idle thing.

Uncorking the bottle, Gaelen carefully tilted the potion towards Ivo's wound, looking at his cautious expression with some pain in his heart, as if what was dripping down was not a potion, but a brilliant silver coin.

Just a few drops of the potion, the black color of Ivo's wound receded like a tidal wave, and finally turned into a burst of black smoke that emitted a foul smell and dissipated in the air.

Looking at the miraculous effect, Diana somewhat couldn't believe her eyes, "This, is this a universal potion?"

As its name suggests, the All-Purpose Potion could lift a series of negative states including toxins, curses, freezing, petrification, burns, and so on.

Even the most inferior universal potion belonged to the ranks of advanced potions.

Moreover, judging from the color of this bottle of universal potion, it was definitely not the most inferior kind either.

Diana glanced at Galen with a somewhat complicated expression.

This man who couldn't even spare a stamina potion after a battle actually had a potion of this quality with him.

"I didn't expect that you, Uncle, such a stingy and petty person, would actually use such a precious potion for the sake of your temporary teammates' safety."

No matter what she had gone through, Diana's style of speaking was still as snarky as ever.

In the face of Diana's ridicule, Galen also remained unmoved.

"As a Shield Guard, it's already a shame to let your teammates get injured, and it's even more of a failure if you're watching your teammates die in front of your eyes."

Diana couldn't help but roll her eyes at that.

The heaviest injury on Ivo's body is the one that you hit him with your shield, right?

This one spat, but Diana held back from saying it.

Because she realized that Galen, after removing his helmet, didn't seem to look too bad?

After the toxin was completely removed, Ivo woke up.

This gave Diana a new understanding of the grade of this bottle of universal potion.

"Elder O'Shield, thank you for saving me, this favor will be remembered forever." Ivo thanked, and he didn't mention the original price to compensate for the loss of the universal potion.

To this noble-born adventurer, his own life could definitely be worth much more than an entire bottle of All-Purpose Potion.

He was also unwilling to simply and perfunctorily pay back Galen for saving his life.

"The strength of those two guys doesn't look like ordinary bandits. Their purpose should be to assassinate you, Little Brother Ivo." Galen said.

Although he was in a state of anger just now, he still took in all the actions of the two looters.

As a matter of common sense, focusing on killing Diana, who had the weakest stamina, was the optimal choice.

However, from the beginning, the two looters' target was Ivo.

Therefore, it wasn't difficult for Galen to come to such a conclusion.

Ivo's face was a little hard to see, he also realized this.

Assassins sent by a rival family? Or was it some people within the family who wanted him to stay out forever?

Without a clue, Ivo shook his head and said, "Let's ignore this for now, when we return to the town, I hope that Elder O'Shield will accept my, and the Lazar family's behind me, gratitude!"

Diana on the side listened with some envy.

She, who had already teamed up with Ivo to complete three quests, hadn't even come into contact with the family behind Ivo.

Unexpectedly, this uncle had harvested such friendship from Ivo just by this one time.

While talking, several people had already walked out of the underground labyrinth.

It was dark night. A round of red curved moon hung high in the sky, and bright stars dotted on top of the curtain called night, adding a few more lively moments to this quiet

night sky, adding a few more lively points.

"It's already so dark, why don't we just stay in the outpost camp for the night?" Diana proposed.

The outpost camp was a temporary transit station built to raid this underground labyrinth.

The camp had the most basic food and lodging functions, and it also provided carriage rental services for adventurers to travel between the town and the

between the town and the camp.

It was not convenient to rush in the dark, so Ivo and Galen agreed to come down.

On the way to the camp, there were no more accidents on the way.

When Galen passed by, the soldiers on duty couldn't help but take a few more glances at the Flame Kobold whose chest was still heaving.

A look of envy appeared on the soldier's face.

It was a living fae kobold that could be sold for an exorbitant price in the hands of nobles who preferred to collect magical beasts.

Even if it was submitted to the Adventurer's Guild, it would still be able to receive a good payment, as well as adventure points.

"Elder Ao Dun, you are the strongest, how about I leave this Goblin in your custody first? Of course, if it's too troublesome for you, I can also look after it for you." Ivo said.

Galen took a look at the half-dead Flame Goblin in his hand, hesitated for a moment, and finally said, "I need the outer skin of the Flame Goblin, and perhaps I will have to kill it later, so I would like to ask for your opinions."

Diana's eyes widened in disbelief, "Although the guild quest only requires the head of a Goblin, a living Flame Goblin can definitely be sold for several times the price of a head yeah?"

Galen said, "If you guys agree, I'm willing to give up my share of the quest's payment to make up for your losses."

Ivo immediately shook his head and said, "Being able to capture this Flame Goblin alive is originally a credit to you, Elder O'Shield, and submitting your head will also complete the quest, so compensation or anything else isn't necessary at all.

Hearing both teammates say this, Galen quietly sighed in relief.

Although the Flame Goblin's skin was a necessity, Galen's dwindling money bag was also in need of a new partner.
