Ezra's POV

"Would you like to be my personal bodyguard?" he proposed, shocking me.

That was an odd question, and I explained to him that I would consider it, I would have to talk to my dad and Uncle before committing to it, which truly it sounds bizarre to me.

He had some guards drop me off at home and after a few minutes in, I checked my phone on the ride.

It had several messages from my dad and uncle, So I text them to tell them I was ok, and on my way home.

I didn't even make it two feet in the door when my dad and uncle were checking me over for injuries while asking loads of questions at one time.

I told them everything that happened, like my normal report back to them, leaving the question for last.

Both of them looked disturbed and furious, but it was my father who spoke up first "Definitely not. You will not be a security guard for some royal, you would be in jeopardy all the time"
