Chapter 1: Chapter 1: In Darkness and light
A small home, one that's dark but warm. There lies life, but amidst it is another soul. Two individuals, one of flesh, the other of energy. A soul still forming, but the other has developed, both nowhere near they're supposed to be, standing at the apex. Both souls split from one, A bond was formed between the two. Their souls split due to the incompatibility of their natures.
"Where am I? What is this place? Why does it feel nice…", Waking up abruptly, not knowing how much time has passed. Confused about the thoughts and knowledge already possessed. Sensing the energy that flows through its home, and even feeling the energy that danced outside, an unfamiliar place to what it's used to. There were many kinds of ways the energy moved, in its home there was constant circulation, giving it and the person right next to it the energy it needed. The way that the energy moved, the different kinds of energy, and the way the people outside used the energies, making it flow in certain ways that it perceived as different ways the energy was used.
Trying to manipulate the energy in its surroundings did not work well, everytime it tried a wave of pain would influence its small body, sending it to take a nap. Waking up in a groggy mood, wondering what it's missing and what these feelings were. Curiouse, it continued its studies, going into a repetitive cycle of exhaustion, gaining more and more mastery and wisdom with every try. Yet, was disappointed, why was doing this so hard, observing the people outside as they controlled the thing that made it struggle.
Eventually, it gave up and decided to just observe. As time passed, observing and trying again and again, it noticed something, something that had not been caught by its senses. Whenever it tried to manipulate the energy around it, the energy within itself acted as a magnet to pull in these energies, exhausting it but increasing the amount of energy present inside its body. Not having noticed this due to how minimal the energy inside it was.
It also noticed something, there was an orb within itself, it contained an energy that it wasn't used to sensing, it felt so familiar that it never realized it was there. It was like nothing outside, curious, it tried to find more of these orbs. Noticing that the place it recognized as home was a person like itself, but different, much much different. Their anatomies were not the same but we're so similar. Within its host there were the orbs that he was looking for, one was so bright and colorful and the much smaller ones, the big one radiated all kinds of energies and it sent its unique energy in circulation.
The energy it sent down to its home would always help in its recovery and feed it. Not noticing that due to its constant research, the energy it took was much greater than the energy being supplied to the person right next to it. Noticing that as it got stronger and stronger, its partner right next to it was suffering from not having enough nutrition, deciding that it would be best to make the energy flow equal, it changed the flow of energy that it gained to give more to the person right next to it. This caused it to feel a new sensation, the person right next to it gained strength, and started to develop more and more. In turn, it also developed, noticing that its own energy pool grew at a rate much faster than when it studied.
A bond that was acknowledged but forgotten about, a link of mutual gain. Noticing that as one of them got stronger, the other also grew. A steady pace was needed for such a partnership, but it was still curious as to why its partner was still asleep.
