Chapter 1: Start

It was an ordinary summer evening, Arch was at home playing computer games. After another round of play, taking off his headphones, Ark heard a thunderclap in the street.

Approaching the window, Ark saw storm clouds gathering in the sky. Fascinated by such a riot of nature, Arch watched the rain for a couple of minutes, then lit a cigarette, thinking: "Nature is really amazing and beautiful."

Arch was a grown man of about thirty, with a rather calm character and poor ability to communicate with other people, as a result of which he had neither friends nor a girlfriend, and his relatives left him long ago. In general, Arch was a lonely person.

Having smoked a cigarette and intending to continue the game, Ark was about to return to the computer, but suddenly lightning flashed, briefly blinding and frightening Ark.

"Haha, I really thought she would hit me, forcing my soul to move to another world, like in those science fiction novels."

Turning around, Arka wandered back to the computer, when suddenly the whole room lit up with a pale blue light, with pain from the second lightning strike in the head, then darkness fell.

At the same time, in another world, a teenager who had just died after a prolonged fever was struck by lightning through a fragile roof. A lightning strike hit the bridge of the nose between the eyes, the discharge went through the eyes, and then the whole body, leaving behind burnt traces, similar to a tattoo, as the lightning passed through the vessels. All this bizarre pattern spread from the eyes and stretched down the entire body, like roots entwining the whole body. Then, unexpectedly, the already dead teenager breathed and groans of pain were heard.

It was the body of a teenager, but the soul was already completely different. It was Arch.

Coming to his senses and opening his eyes, Arch saw only darkness.

"Is this really a deep night?" - thought Ark.

Trying to get out of bed, Arch felt severe pain and cramps all over his body, moaning in pain, he lay down and tried not to move.

Calmed down, Ark tried to look around.

"Is it really so dark? But even on a dark night, there is always a faint light from the streetlights outside the window, allowing you to see the faint outline of objects nearby. "

After a short thought, a terrible thought flashed through his head: "Did the last lightning strike deprive me of my sight?"
