A gloved hand grabbed him by his mouth as his throat was slid open by a black blade. The blood gushed out, but it was swiftly eliminated by the corrosive mana of the assaulter.

The man tried to free himself from the clutches of the assassin, but to his misfortune his body was frozen in place as venom spread through his bloodstream, shutting down his motor functions.

He couldn't even let out a muffled scream as he was slowly dragged behind the corner, away from salvation as his eyes were bloodshot from horror, watching the moon give him its last best wishes before life left his body and he was forgotten forever.

The next moment, a figure emerged from the darkness as they wore the uniform of Towering Clouds Domain's men.
