Chapter 74: Observer

'It is pretty lonely here' Andrew commented as he looked around the empty space.

"Are you surprised?" Emei approached him and asked.

"With what?" Andrew didn't quite get the question.

"How dense are you? Obviously, I am talking about the sheer number of rooms available!" she clarified.

"Oh, I thought you meant the pitiful number of alchemists available in here" Andrew snickered.

"It doesn't matter" Emei said as she turned around to walk towards one of the stony doors.

"Why though?" Andrew followed after her as he knew about the benefits that alchemists could provide.

"Andrew, do you really expect for 1 in every 5 mages to become an alchemist?" Emei looked dead into his eyes, catching him off guard as she subconsciously exerted her bloodline ability.

Andrew instantly averted his gaze.
