West Ridge was a long, narrow ridge in the Lovos Mountains. The Lovos Mountains formed a large range between the Fis Kingdom and the Ulgath Kingdom, making it nearly impossible for traveling merchants to bypass the mountains to reach the other side. Thus, they had no choice but to traverse the mountains.

West Valley, located in the eastern part of the Lovos Mountains, offered a somewhat winding but less steep path that avoided the most treacherous peaks.
