Chapter 1: The Xenon crisis

Xenon Region
[ Planet Livia, Goldian(Capital of the Livian province) ]
A hallway of the main castle. A girl with long green hair, two huge horns, and legs that look like a kangaroo running with some documents in her hands. She looked as if she was in a rush. Running fast she entered the main palace gate. The guards there greet her with a peace sign. Probably a cultural greeting. She greeted them back but didn't stop walking. A huge staircase was in the middle of the palace and a golden color door on top. Most of the palace looked as of it were made of gold too. She entered the room yelling,
"Sorry I am late! Please forgive me."
A meeting was in place. Her entrance made all the people sitting there mad as they thought she didn't have any manners. All of the people were wearing strange knightlike outfits. The armor covering their face. Each of them was 5 times bigger than the girl. On the front, a man was sitting in a huge chair with a sparkling crown on top of his head. He was sitting in a kinglike manner. His name
Ivan VII Artarous.
One of the 16 Unikings of the universe and the most renowned of the Xenon Region.
"Calm down gentlemen." Just with his subtle words alone, the room became silent. He looked at Reyna and asked in a polite voice,
"What is the matter? Reyna?"
The woman's name was Reyna. She responded, in a panicking tone,
"The west gate of The Xenon region has fallen."
Hearing these words the knights in the room gasped. They started to talk to one another. Smashing his hand on the side of his throne he created noise to silent the gossiping.
"Silent. What has happened? How did it happen?" he calmly asked,
"The report says that the shortage of radiant crystals made the artillery unit useless. Using this chance the 2 Beholders under the supervision of Warchief Destro destroyed the gate and conquered the planet."
"What is the current situation now?"
"For now they have moved back and are not advancing. We are also unable to send backup ships since it would leave the capital defenseless."
"So you're telling me unless we receive that shipment of radiant crystals we can't retaliate?"
"I am afraid so sire."
The king was very enraged hearing those reports. He wasn't flinching or moving yet his aura was getting vicious. The knights could feel the pressure around them as if they would suffocate. They tried to calm him down. One of them stood up and requested,
"Sire, If I may say something"
"Proceed"
"With the current situation we are in we need to put more budget on the Urgonian shipment. If we can't extract the necessary amount within the next 3 months we won't be able to stop Destro from taking over the Xenon region too."
After a moment of silence, he responded,
"Very well. Increase funding in the Crystal extraction. Do as you must. I will not let those outlaws destroy what I have built."
"Yes sir." The knight replied.
Reyna started to walk away herself when the king stopped her.
"Reyna, one more thing"
"Yes, sire?" She asked hesitantly.
"How is the progress of the Legion of Hades."
Many different pods could be seen with liquid-filled to the brim. There were some living organisms inside the tube as well. Scientists were on standby taking notes every second, seeing their vitals and blood pressure.
Reyna responded confidently,
"Data processing has already been finished. Practical training will start after their mental hibernation will end by the following month."
"Good"
"If I may add sir?"
"go ahead..."
"The capabilities of the organisms themselves are astonishing but even so they have a limit of their own. Changing the biostructure and limit we are not only hampering the subjects themselves but there a 70% chance that it could cause huge causalities. I suggest we take our time and..."
Before she could finish Ivan shouted,
"I do not pay you, people, to suggest...I pay you to show me results... I want them ready by the following month! Is that clear?"
"Yes..my majesty.."
she bowed and left promptly.
Meanwhile on the West Gate...
"Oi old man. Why did you make us stop here? We could be conquering more planets now..." one of the Beholders responded.
"Yea. What he said" the other one mimicked him.
Both of them were wearing clocks. Their face was covered by their hoodie.
A huge Person with a skull-type mask could be seen pouring an alcoholic drink in his glass. The whole place surrounding them was in rubble. It looked as if a huge battle had taken place there.
"Patience is a unique virtue. You two should know that. We will take it all...in due time!"
