Chapter 174: Rest and Breath

The next day, Zhou Chao woke up from his slumber around noon, gazing affectionately at Jiang Li nestled in his arms.

Unable to resist, Zhou Chao planted a kiss on Jiang Li's forehead, and she slowly opened her slightly weary eyes.

Seeing Zhou Chao looking at her so intently, she buried her entire small head in his chest.

"Darling, you take a rest; I'll go make something delicious to replenish your energy." 

"Mmm," Jiang Li's voice emerged from under the covers. Zhou Chao grinned in response, lifted the blanket, and got out of bed, revealing a spot of redness underneath.

Zhou Chao headed to the bathroom for a quick shower. After all, the previous night had been quite wild, and he had stayed up late. When he emerged from the bathroom, he found Jiang Li already back asleep in bed.

"Last night was quite a workout for her!" Zhou Chao thought to himself. He gently closed the bedroom door, not wanting to disturb her.
