“That is not how I heard about it.” Raoul still stared at her.

His gaze did not move from her. Rosa sighed and stood up. “There are versions, but the result is a close person of mine died, and maybe if I was there, I could have stopped it.” Both of them look uncomfortable with her words.

“Besides this is not going to change the fact I am rejected even before I competed. Sir Deon did inform me before the trials.” Rosa smiled but this did not change the mood around her.

Raoul looked as if she swallowed a lemon slice and Michael looked like he will be bursting into another round of tears soon. He held out the mask towards her.

“Here, I think you are looking for this.” Rosa took the mask from his hand.

“Ah! Thank you I was looking for it everywhere. You cleaned it as well, thank you.” She replied as she checked the state of the mask.

“That on your cheek……...” Raoul pointed to her scar.

“Is it from the same battle?” Rosa smiled and rubbed it.
