The academy at this moment was silent. Most of the time there would be cadets moving around sparring in the arena or talking in the canteen. However, today there was silence. The session must have made them exhausted. Rosa likes the silence it was a relief from the constant whispers behind her back.

She passed the arena on her way. The light was on. Some of the cadets would get into the arena to get the extra workout done. She stopped and decided to peek into the arena. The closer she came to the door, the sounds started to come out louder. There were two people in the arena. One of them was an instructor and the other was the golden-ranked cadet. He was swinging his pike against the instructor. They were wearing only pants and shoes.
