The cloth moved to reveal the face of Alriah.

“What are you doing here” Rosa’s eyes broaden.

“Shh! Not so loud I am here to help just a bit.” Alriah whispered while she helped to wash the wounds.

“If you stay quiet for a while here, they will let you go.” Rosa was confused at what was happening.

“Alriah how did you get in?” she was confused at the treatment for all she knew no prisoner will get such a treatment in this place.

“Don’t worry about it. The cold water will help a bit. I will try to get some clean clothes for you next time.” She kept on murmuring.

“Alriah! Stop it look at me. How did you get here?” Rosa could easily understand that something is not right here.

Alriah did not talk anymore. She smiled and raised her hand to pat Rosa’s head. “Thank you for saving Gerald but sadly it was for nothing.”

She stopped and let out the breath she was holding for the moment. “This is the least I can do for you.”
