The ride back to the fortress took less time. She did not notice the chaos on her side.

‘They did not attack for such a long time. Why now?’ she bites her bottom lips. ‘Don’t tell me they were waiting and regrouping? Why we did not think of this?’

The back gate which was closing soon let her enter first before closing them. She did not wait to talk to anyone only urged Ruh to move faster. She moved in between the soldiers and moved to the front gate. The first group moved out already.

Rosa gritted her teeth as she approached her group. Aluma was on her horse waiting for the time.

“Sorry I am late,” Rosa muttered and joined the others at the back.

“Come to the front you will stick with me,” Aluma ordered her.
