The black knights they are known as a dark guild for hire. They have all sorts of rumors about them. There is a rumor about them being a bunch of traitors from the previous war. Other rumors meant they are bunch of killers for hire from the underground.

The only time the attack of the black knights were foiled when they clashed with the ghosts. However the ghosts never engage themselves in any missions without the empires interest. At that time the ghosts were a small in number.

They just started to gather. At first the capital was against the creation of ghost, they later accepted the formation with a contract. They will not engage in any partial command. They can only engage with official orders. Most of the times the ghosts are taken away for work outside the empire.
