As they approached the gate, the emperor approached them with his white horse.

Aldrich was behind him. “Stay alive in there. I will join you in the second line.”

“If it was up to me Sir, I wish you would not have to join the battle at all,” Darce said bowing his head.

Nicholas smiled at him. “I can’t let you have all the fun now, can I?”

He moved his horse out of the way to let the group ride out of the camp. They bowed to the emperor as they rode out of the gate. Rosa was the second to leave the gate after Darce. Her eyes fell on the emperor. There was a feeling of cold in her heart.
