Waiz could not believe his ears.

He turned to look at Belal for the second time in case what he heard was wrong, however, there was no difference in his expression. “She asked for more food?”

“Can you believe it, Sir? The girl had the choice of asking for anything she wants, and she ends up asking only for more food.” Belal shook his head in disappointment.

“She is a silly one and she did not even ask for the second wish either.”

Waiz could not still believe what was going on in his ears. “This is very strange indeed.”

He handed back the glass of water. ‘She fought hard in the arena, but she only wanted to do it for food?’ his eyes went to the window.

The great desert came into his vision. It became clear to him why she did not ask to be free. “She did not ask for freedom because she cannot use it to leave.”

“Sir?” Belal asked confused.
