“This is why I wanted that boy to be here. At least he could have been used……”

Aldrich wanted to continue but Nicholas raised his hand to stop him in the middle. “I talked to that boy; he is the least important figure in the castle. He was sent here as just a sacrifice.”

“He could easily be faking that.” Aldrich countered.

“Yes and no he did not seem like that; even if he does you cannot blame a prince to work for his country.” Nicholas took a stool from the side and sat on it.

His legs were shaking from standing for a long time.

He took the second one and passed it to Aldrich sliding it on the floor. “Sit down first; we have time to think about that later.”

Aldrich felt like an elder brother between them. While Nicholas has the best in his heart it was still a problem to take the people from the other continents lightly. Nicholas on the other hand does not wish to be someone who takes decisions in anger. Nicholas wanted to dispatch one group first.
