It smelled like potions where they stood. The door was closed behind them, but the soldiers tried to peek inside to check on their leader. The soldiers were supposed to return to Layl as soon as they were back on their feet. Still, none of them wanted to leave without their beloved ex-commander.

The door opened to one of the healers, who looked at them angrily. “It would be better if you make way for us to pass.”

He walked out with a tray of bottles in his hand and walked quickly. The soldiers did not mind the rude comment. The healers were getting pissed at their attitude, but no one could have the heart to let them go. As they watched with bandages and potions, smell around them. Even the two inside did not shoo them off. Rouch smelled like potions with an application on his cheek. He was supposed to rest, but he was looking at his friend on the bed beside him. The healers had him on the bed, looking at his eyes.
