The heat was building up too much around her. She did not feel comfortable with the heavy suit. Darce heard every single word she just uttered.

He almost screamed. “I do understand you can take care of yourself. However, this was too dangerous. What if something happened to you? Or worse, what if they were a group of assassins targeting to harm you? This is why I wanted you to be close to me, Princess.”

His chest was rising and falling as he was trying hard to control his rage. Rosa watched him as she dabbed her face with the wet towel. His anger did not shock her or anything. Instead, for some reason, she was smiling. She was happy with how Darce was reacting.
