Chapter 118: Bk2:Ch–24The Fortress pt-1

The party arrived late in the afternoon. The large group of soldiers entered the gate riding on horses. The cavalry made a loud entrance to the place. The fort was an entry point to the empire. For a while now they are the victims of regular attacks from the North. Vattaku soldiers have constantly made attacks every moment they got.

This cavalry from Argenti came as the first reinforcements. They rode in on a silent day in front of the large stone wall at the end border. There were large tents pitched on one side of the wall with make shift quarters for the captains.

Rosa rode on her horse in sync with her group. Her head hung low. They divided the party and job on the mid way to the border. She was riding with a group of individuals she does not recognize. They all maintained silence. Her group was small in number and with a leader who did not mean to engage in any conversation until necessary.
