Chapter 827: Bk 3: Ch – 251 Return to Rante(pt-2)

Everyone followed him slightly bowing to the King except Senal who rode behind Darce as a guard. Darce gave a light jerk to the rein in his palm as his arms covered Rosa carefully under his cloak. Darce relaxed being careful to not wake her up. The horse slowly took the silent path to the gate, the light jerk made Rosa stir as the sun's rays became brighter falling on her eyes. She stirred awake and yawned before noticing the King of Rante’s face just above her eyes.

Rosa blinked twice before pulling her hand up to rub the eyes clean. “When did I fall asleep?”

“Right at the time when we started to ride. If you wish you can still keep on sleeping. I will carry you back.” Darce replies but Rosa takes this moment to sit upright.

She wanted to check where she was. The place did not look like the forest path. Her eyes fell on the distance getting closer, the gate was getting larger as they moved closer and closer.

Rosa rubbed her eyes thinking. “We came back fast.”
