Chapter 797: Bk 3: Ch– 235 The Expressions(pt-2)

Nicholas enters the throne room as his presence is announced. The last night was horrible. He hardly slept with the Empress beside him. He was checking her breathing every time she went silent. The warmth on her body was almost non-existent. The deterioration of her health was making him feel relatively guilty about leaving her like this alone. Nicholas wanted to stick beside the Empress and give her the support she required, however this was important at the moment.

“Let’s get this over with, I am in a hurry,” Nicholas murmured to Aldrich as he entered the throne room.

They all bowed as Nicholas entered with his uniform. It was put on him in a hurry with the cape on his back. He took a deep breath and stood before the throne. Instead of feeling nervous, he was feeling irritated. The whole case however important was something that does not deserve the urgency it has been pushed to.
