Isabella also stood up to show respect.

Rosa was grinning at her brother.

‘Nicholas noticed this.’ She thought, feeling proud.

“And there is more.” He took the second scroll on the tray.

“Some citizens will shift to join the village to repopulate the village. Will that be enough, Chief?” He smiled at Justin, who thought he was listening to things that were not real.

“Your Majesty, are you confident about this?” Justin was close to the Chief but never thought he would be named as one.

He was feeling overwhelmed, but he welcomed the gifts. Justin sighed as he turned to face Rosa. “My luck shined when Your Highness came into my life." He bowed low to Nicholas, then moved to Rosa and bent.

Her head tilted, feeling awed by the gesture.
