Chapter 4: Chapter 3: Burning Forest
As the first beast is fallen to the ground, the approaching beasts stop in their track and turn to face the fallen Hapri. The sudden silence is swiftly broken by a loud howl, one by one each beast turn their heads back towards Anton and Darvik.
With a quick motion the beasts start rushing towards them with an overwhelming speed. The Hapri enraged by the sight of their fallen brethren, quickly rush towards Darvik and Anton, standing back to back awaiting the Hapri's attack. But before they can get close enough a sharp blade of a spear penetrates the hearts of the creatures in an overwhelmingly quick motion, so quick that the other Hapri were taken aback by the action and stopped in their tracks, this gives Darvik enough time to sprint towards the dazed beasts and slash and pierce through their living flesh.
Anton in the opposite direction from Darvik is continuing to pummel the Hapri with the use of his Armoured Fists and Martial arts skills, he is dodging their wild attacks and with each new strike from Anton the number of beasts is decreasing and the bright green eyes slowly start to close.
But as the bright green eyes are starting to fade, Anton notices an orange light starting to emerge from the depths of the forest, and with it the behaviour of Hapri has begun to change, they became less aggressive and started to back down, at first it seemed like they were beginning to scower away, but that was not the case.
Fortunately for Anton and Darvik, Hapri lack in physical attributes such as Strength or Endurance compared to their Werewolf counterpart and although much faster thanks to their stronger and more agile legs, it still does not make up for the lacking strength, especially when against stronger opponents, but what does make Hapri unique to normal human Werewolves is the unique trait that can be awakened within Hapri; it is the ability to use Natural Magic.
The Warhapri or Hapri Warlocks as they are often referred to, are known for their ability to use Basic Natural Magic, which includes Earth, Water, Fire and Wood magic.
"Do you feel it, a sudden change of atmosphere?" - Asked Anton
"Yes. What do we do?" - Replied Darvik
"Wait." - Quickly Replied Anton, patiently waiting for something to happen.
As all Hapri move back closer to the forest a sudden spark ignites one of the trees, a raging fire unaffected by the wind or rain begins to ignite the trees around Anton and Darvik, surrounding them in a ring of fire; as the fire lit up the forest the source of orange lights became visible, it was an a magic wielding Hapri, a Warhapri.
It's intimidating stature and fire Red eyes were clearly visible and would strike fear into anyone. It raised it's arm and pointed its finger towards Anton and Darvik; with unknown language it said something and condensed fire began to build up in a form of a sphere on the tip of it's finger, a fireball. The moment that the fire stopped building up the beast sent the fireball towards them.
Anton ducks down letting Darvik use his back as a stepping stone to jump over him, and with a straight thrust of the spear he connects with the condensed fire creating a barrier projection around the tip of the spear. The incredible force emenating from the clash between the spear and fire is setting fire to the surrounding area. "Damn it, my projection isn't strong enough" - Said Darvik whilst struggling to push back the fire.
With all of his strength Darvik finally manages to redirect the fire away from himself and Anton. But the moment Darvik turns back to face the beast another fireball goes flying towards them, with a quick reaction he spins his spear in his hands to create a suppression field to reduce the impact of the fireball.
Upon a direct contact with the suppression field the power of the fireball was reduced but it was still strong enough to break through the field and throw back Anton and Darvik.
"Shit" - Said Darvik laying on the ground. "If he fires one of those again we are done".
"Don't worry, I have a plan. Take this, distract him" - Said Anton while handing Darvik a light stone.
Darvik grabs the stone and using his projection ability amplifies the strength of the light stone.
The light stones are used primarily as a source of light but when used correctly can greatly amplified the light created from it and when used in a cracked state will create a flash effect that will blind anyone, but if done incorrectly will create a light source so intense it will burn and damage the user.
With the stone strengthened the Darvik glenches the stone in his hand causing it to crack. Without wasting anytime He throws the stone in the air and using his spear breaks the stone causing a burst of light. The light blinded all Hapri and Warhapri in the surrounding area giving Anton the chance to get close enough to the Warhapri.
As Anton charges towards the Warhapri he hardens his fists turning them steel black, in the same motion he hits his armoured hands against each other causing them to ignite in a blue flame.
An ability unique to Anton called Hellfire, is a type of magic that is unique only to himself, it is an ability which allows Anton to create Hellfire.
Magic such as Hellfire is referred to as Unique Magic by most but it also has another name, Persona Magic, it is a magic type which can only be awakened in 1 out of 1000 people with some exceptions.
Anton got close enough to reach his target, Warhapri but something felt odd about this, it can be that easy thought Anton, but brushing aside his concern he jump to reach the face of the beast.
But a fist comes crashing towards Anton which he barely manages to block and throws him back, it was a a hairy fist of the Warhapri.
"Such pathetic s-s-strategy" - Stuttered Warhapri trying to speak in human language "You w-will not s-succeed. " The Warhapri then begins to speak in a language unknown to Anton or Darvik but almost like on command all of the Hapri surrounding Darvik rushed towards him.
"I s-s-shall show you, our s-strength"

Anonima_Ace Hi, it's me again, sorry for the wait on the chapter and thank you for your patience. I have been quite busy recently so it took me a while to finish writing this chapter but I hope you enjoy it, it will try to publish the next chapter by Friday of next week.
