Nifaratii was at an anime con when it happened. She cosplayed as the female version of Hanoke-kun, her favorite manga character. Well, almost cosplayed. She still wore her mood necklace, and she wasn't wearing a wig, but she still rocked the outfit. She may not be a clothing specialist, but she had a pretty good sense of style. She was right about to go get some cotton candy when she received a notification on her phone.

"Whaaat? This has got to be a joke, right? But if it isn't... Holy crap. I need to get out of here."
She ran towards the exit, hoping she could make it in time. One hour later, she arrived at her apartment and started packing, just the things with emotional value and essential needs.
"Hairdryer, check! Makeup, check! Extra clothes, check! Alright, time to go!"She got into her car and started driving.
"Where should I even go? Maybe outside of town? Yeah, I'll go outside of town to escape," She thought.
After 20-30 minutes of driving, driving, driving, she took a look in her rearview mirror to look back at the town. But instead of the town, all she saw was a pink glow that, as it washed over her, sent a strange tingling, burning sensation throughout her body.
