Chapter 5: Vegeta
During the 1st year after the 23rd WMAT
Goku and Dragon have been fighting each other almost everyday and training together in the gravity chamber. Eventually Chi-Chi got pregnant too, the two girls talked together all the time and Goku decided to go back home with Chi-Chi for the kid and to train himself, they left Capsule Corp and returned to their house.
Dragon watched him go and helped out Bulma in every way he could. He basically did whatever she asked, he thought it was pretty funny, she kept ordering him around to do anything while she did nothing and was extremely comfortable. She said "Dragoooon~ Come here!" Dragon came over and she pulled him to her face and said "I want Chocolate!" then kissed him, he was stunned, was she angry or happy? She pushed him away and said "Make it fast!" he went to get her the chocolate and came back with a bag full.
She smiled and said "Good boy. Come here." He sat next to her and thought that he was more tired now than during training. She ate her chocolate as she cuddled with him and watched TV, Dragon sighed, he really loved her a lot to be an errand boy, he decided to train harder when he had time.
Eventually
The kid was born, it was a girl surprisingly. Dragon help the girl in his hands and she looked at him and tilted her head, she had a tail too. Bulma grabbed her from his hands and said "What are you looking at her like that for?!" Dragon scratched his head and said "I was thinking of a name." Bulma said "I have one, what about Bulla?" Dragon blinked and said "What about Lumis?" Bulma tilted her head and said "Lumis? Isn't that a boy's name?"
Dragon started to sweat, he didn't know that, he quickly corrected himself and said "I think you should pick honey." Bulma nodded and said "Good. Bulla it is." Dragon chuckled and sighed before sitting next to Bulma and looking at the baby with a smile.
A few months later
Goku's kid was born, he was a boy named Gohan. Chi-Chi started making regular visits to spend time with Bulma and Bulla with Gohan. The two guys sighed and trained more.
4 years later
Bulla clinged to Dragon's head as she looked around, they were on Roshi's island for a reunion, everyone was there even Goku and Chi-Chi with Gohan. Bulla said "Who's that old man, Daddy?" she was extremely cute, she had long blue hair with a spike going down to her face from her forehead. Dragon said "That's your grampa Bulla." Bulla said "Is he stronger than you daddy?" Dragon smirked and said "Your daddy's the strongest!" Bulla giggled and smacked his head saying "Silly daddy! Mommy is stronger than you!" Dragon turned green, that wasn't entirely false, Bulma was really scary when she was angry.
Roshi said "You two! It's been 5 years!" Dragon and Goku smiled and said "How you been Gramps?" Roshi laughed and said "Fine, need a new girl though.." The duo chuckled and Goku said "This is Gohan, introduce yourself Gohan." Gohan bowed and said "Nice to meet you, i'm Gohan." Bulla jumped on top of him and said "I'm Bulla!" Gohan face planted and said "Bulla, you're standing on me.."
Bulla picked him up and shook him saying "Get a grip kiddo!" the rest watched the show and were speechless, Dragon and Goku grimaced, these kids were like polar opposites of each other. Bulma was proud of herself and Chi-Chi just wanted Gohan to be a scholar, seemed kind of redundant because both of them were fighters but Dragon was definitely not going to just into that mess.
Dragon picked Bulla up with one hand by her collar and said "Who you callin' kiddo, kiddo?" Bulla stuck her tongue out and said "How are we supposed to get married if he's such a wimp!" everybody choked on their saliva and Dragon shook her as he snapped "WHO'S GETTING MARIED?! NOT YOU!" Bulla rolled her eyes and gave Bulma a thumbs up, Bulma giggled and secretly gave one back.
Goku rubbed his chin and said "Not a bad idea Bulla." Dragon looked around and saw the rest nodding and said "What?!" Roshi said "Could be a good student for me..." the rest made their own claims and Dragon almost spit out blood, she was only 4 years old, where was she going to get married, the playground?! He was about to say something, when a sphere object smashed into the ground near them.
A man with extremely long hair came out and said incredulously "Kakarot?!" the group was confused and the man walked up to Goku saying "Kakarot! You're alive?!" Goku pointed at himself and said "Me? I'm Goku not Kakarot." the man was confused and said "I'm Raditz, your brother. Anyway you were supposed to destroy all life on this planet! How come you haven't completed your mission yet!?" Goku was even more confused than him and said "What are you talking about?!"
Raditz was confused and said "You must be Kakraot, we are Saiyans. You had a tail too no? Where did it go?" Dragon looked over and found him familiar, he didn't know from where though and Goku said "Saiyans? Like an alien?" the rest gasped and said "Goku and Dragon are aliens?" Bulla looked at her dad with stars in her eyes as she said "Alien?!" Dragon scratched his head and was confused too, he didn't know he was an alien, he didn't really care either, he shrugged and said "I guess."
Goku shook his head and said "I'm not an alien." Roshi said "Actually, when Gohan found you, you were in a spaceship just like that one and you were a very aggressive baby. One day you feel into a ravine and bumped your head pretty hard, that's probably why you're like this now." Goku was having an existential crisis but quickly forgot about it and shrugged saying "I guess I am an alien then." Raditz was petrified looking at Dragon and stuttered "Y-y-your Highness!"
Dragon tilted his head and said "I hit my head too man, I don't know what you're talking about." Raditz was shocked, this was big news, he said "Our planet was destroyed by an asteroid twenty years ago, Kakarot was sent to destroy all life on this planet and you were supposed to go find him. There are only 5 of us left. Anyway after we kill everyone on this planet we can go back to the other two!" Raditz looked at Bulla and Gohan, he didn't want to go anywhere near Dragon and grabbed Gohan saying "If you don't agree I will kill the child!"
Goku was stunned and attacked him, Raditz kicked him away and ran into his ship before shooting off as Dragon chased him, but it flew off before he got to him. Dragon sighed and Goku said "I'm going after him!" Dragon said "I'm coming too." Krillin and Roshi said the same and Goku said "No. Absolutely not, you all died once already. The dragon balls can't bring back someone from the dead twice." he got ready to leave when Piccolo showed up saying "Let's team up." Goku nodded and Bulma gave him a dragon radar and they left.
Dragon watched him go and said "Let's go home." he grabbed Bulma, Bulla, and Chi-Chi before flying off saying "See you later."
Dragon was silent while flying home and Bulma said "You want to go too?" Dragon said "Of course, he's my best friend. If I trained harder then I could've stopped Raditz, I hope nothing happens." Bulma was silent and held his face saying "It's gonna be okay." Dragon smiled and kissed her hand as they made their way back to capsule corp.
He landed on the ground and Dragon put all the girls down, Bulla grabbed his pants and said "Why didn't you help daddy?" Dragon picked her up and flew to the roof, leaving the other girls to go inside.
He landed on the roof and said "Do you think daddy is weak?" Bulla said "You would've went to help if you weren't right?" Dragon pinched her cheeks and said "Daddy already died once, you know what that means? If I die again, you don't have a daddy anymore, do you want that?" Bulla paled and shook her head saying "I love daddy! Don't leave!" as she hugged him, Dragon smiled and hugged her saying "If you want to protect something you have to be strong. Do you want to be strong?" Bulla nodded and Dragon said "Do you want Daddy to train you?" Bulla nodded excitedly.
Dragon got a neutral face and said "It's going to be hard, extremely hard. Don't go crying to your mom and give up, or I won't train you ever again. Understand?" Bulla nodded and Dragon went inside and handed Bulla to Bulma and said "I'll be back, we'll start tomorrow." Bulma was confused and Dragon grabbed a dragonball radar, he kissed Bulma and said "I'll be back." as he flew off towards Goku's location.
A while later
He arrived at the battlefield and saw Goku and Raditz with a hole in their chests, he looked at Piccolo and said "Really? Two of you together couldn't kill him normally?!" Piccolo nodded and said "He was extremely strong." Dragon walked over to Goku and said "King Kai you can hear me?" King Kai's voice sounded in his head and said "Yep." Dragon said "Train Goku and I'll buy you 4 cars." King Kai was excited but kept his cool and said "5." Dragon said "Sure."
He looked at Gohan, who was crying and said "You understand now? You can protect anyone if you study all day. Though Chi-Chi doesn't help either.." Gohan cried and said "Is my dad dead?" Dragon rubbed his head and said "Yep. But he can come back." Piccolo grabbed Gohan and said "I will train him." Dragon squinted and said "You sure about that?" Piccolo nodded seriously and said "2 more saiyans will be coming soon, apparently Raditz was nothing to them."
Dragon narrowed his eyes and said "If the kid dies, you die too. Understand?" Piccolo nodded and flew off with Gohan, Dragon watched them go and flew back home. He needed to start training quickly, if there were more, he needed to survive and win. He wasn't going to play around anymore.
Dragon landed at home and put on his weighted clothes and went into the gravity chamber after telling Bulma what happened. He cranked the gravity to 20x and started training.
The next morning
Dragon was training Bulla, extremely harshly, she was wearing weighted clothes and running around doing push ups, sit ups, and squats. He couldn't put her in the gravity chamber as it would stunt her growth and she would be small forever, that wasn't good. While he was training Bulla, he was also training himself in the gravity chamber at 20x while also sparing sometime for his fighting techniques, especially Kaioken and Dragon's breath.
Time passed
Bulla was getting stronger and stronger, as was Dragon, he pushed her so hard that there wasn't a day where she wasn't feeling pain in her body, but she grit her teeth and kept going, she didn't want to let him down. Dragon showed her the stance he took with his claws and tied weights to her wrists and made her keep the claws up in the air, he made her hold the claw stance while she worked out normally to get used to it, she was worried her hands would stay like that forever but Dragon laughed and explained that it didn't work that way.
Training continued and 1 year after Goku's death the two saiyans arrived.
Dragon sensed a strong presence and a weaker one with 4 tiny ones. He stopped Training and cleaned himself up before telling Bulla to continue of her own, she nodded and did her own thing. Dragon kissed Bulma and said "They're here." Bulma held his face and said "Please be careful." Dragon held her hands and said "I will." she smiled and kissed him saying "I'll be waiting for you." he smiled and left.
He flew towards the saiyans.
When he got there he saw Piccolo jumping in front of Gohan and dying. He flew down and pierced the man who killed Piccolo through the chest with his Ki-infused Claw. Dragon kicked the corpse, sending it flying across the horizon and decimating a mountain. Dragon glared at the spiky haired man, who staring at him in shock, when Goku arrived and saw the destruction and got angry, he split a Senzu bean in half and gave each half to Gohan and Krillin.
The man looked at Goku and Dragon with his scouter and gasped "It's over 9000!!" as the scouter exploded. Goku said "He killed them?" Dragon pointed to the mountain that was destroyed and said "No, I killed that guy already, I just got here. You were with King Kai?" Goku nodded and said "I got two techniques, but that monkey was fast!" Dragon chuckled and said "I know! It took me a month just to catch it!" Goku laughed and smirked "3 weeks." Dragon grumbled and the man said "Legumis!"
Dragon pointed at himself and said "Who?" the man said "Legumis. I'm Vegeta, your brother." Dragon was shocked and said "Again?" he looked at Goku, who shrugged, and then back at Vegeta saying "You're my brother?" Vegeta nodded and said "You were supposed to get Kakarot and destroy the planet." Dragon sighed and said "I hit my head and forgot everything, can we not destroy the planet? I have a family now." Vegeta was stunned and said "Impossible! With a weak earthling?!"
Dragon shook his head and said "Maybe we can't be friends after all." as he shot towards Vegeta and kicked at him, Vegeta smirked and dodged. Goku complained "I wanted to fight!" Dragon said "It's my brother, take Krillin and Gohan to a safe place. Vegeta come with me, some where else." as he flew away, Vegeta followed after him.
The duo landed in a plain and started fighting each other, Dragon was significantly stronger that the current Goku and could hold his own against Vegeta by himself. The two fought for a long time and Vegeta jumped into the air and charged up an attack, Dragon charged his own as they duo thrusted their hands at the same time.
An azure beam and a purple beam collided in the middle and Dragon pushed himself to Kaioken x2, gaining an advantage, sending Vegeta into the air. Vegeta was enraged that he was bested by his little brother and created a powerball before transforming into a great ape, Goku watched and saw Vegeta transform and remembered what happened to his grandpa and decided to create a spirit bomb just in case Dragon lost, neither of them at their tails.
Vegeta landed on the ground and said "This form amplifies my power tenfold, Legumis!" as he fired a beam from his mouth. Dragon jumped up and said "Kaioken x4!" he grimaced and shot towards Vegeta and punched him in the stomach, sending him flying through a few giant rocks. Vegeta got up and slapped Dragon out of the air and into the ground, creating cracks.
Dragon got up and fired a Dragon's breath at Vegeta, who fired a mouth beam, the two collided again and Dragon pushed but was over come by Vegeta's beam. Dragon took it and was sent flying, smashing into several rocks and laying on the ground weakly, the Kaioken x4 was definitely not helping the situation.
Vegeta stood above him and said "You were always the weaker one, that's why father never brought you out on missions." Dragon shook his head and said "I don't remember anyway so I don't care." Vegeta sneered and said "I don't either." as he lifted his foot to crush him but Yajirobe appeared out of nowhere and cut Vegeta's tail off, returning him to his normal state.
Vegeta turned around and glared at Yajirobe who ran away, Krillin tried to distract Vegeta while Goku charged up a spirit bomb but was easily taken care of, Vegeta didn't even kill him, he just kicked him away easily. Gohan stepped up and started fighting Vegeta but was easily taken care of as well. Vegeta turned to Dragon and said "Goodbye brother."
Suddenly
Bulla flew in, much to Dragon's shock as he had no idea how she got here, she screamed "Stay away from my daddy!" and kicked Vegeta, sending him flying away. Goku was shocked and said "Good job Bulla!" before throwing the finished spirit bomb at Vegeta and blowing him into the sky.
Bulla ran to Dragon and said "Are you okay daddy?" Dragon nodded before saying "What are you doing here?! I told you to stay at home!" Bulla looked awkward and said "I stole a plane capsule..." as she touched her fingers together and looked away while pouting.
Dragon sighed and Vegeta fell to the ground, Dragon got up and made his way to Vegeta, who tried to get Gohan and Bulla, Dragon grabbed him and said "Enough, just relax." as he kneed Vegeta in the stomach, causing him to spit out saliva and fall to the ground.
Gohan and Bulla looked up at the sky and both started growling, Vegeta was alarmed and tried to cut off their tails but Goku stopped him and the two started fighting, Goku was drained from the spirit bomb and Vegeta was still going slightly stronger.
Dragon flew up to Bulla and smacked her nose saying "Wake up kid." Bulla was full great ape right now and was decently strong, Gohan fought against Vegeta with a weakened Goku and Dragon was talking to Bulla, trying to get her to control the transformation.
Dragon said "I'm going to cut off your tail when we get back home. You don't need it." Bulla grabbed her tail and shook her head, Dragon laughed and said "Speak!" as he slapped her head into the ground, he landed on the ground and Bulla squeaked out an "Oww.." Dragon laughed and said "Control yourself." as he started getting Bulla to control her transformation.
Vegeta managed to cut Gohan's tail right off before collapsing along with Goku and Gohan. Krilling walked over and Goku said "Don't kill him! Send him away." Krillin nodded and dragged Vegeta to his pod, Dragon walked over and said "Come back soon okay?" as he smiled, Vegeta seethed "You two will regret this!" Dragon was a bit sad that his only relative didn't like him, but whatever maybe he would change, Goku believed he could and so did he.
Vegeta's pod flew up into the air and disappeared.
Dragon collapsed and sighed as the powerball ran out and Bulla returned to normal. A ship flew over and revealed Chi-Chi, Roshi, Korin, and Bulma, who had steam coming out of her head as she marched towards Bulla, who started to sweat and ran towards Dragon. Chi-Chi ran over to Gohan, ignoring Goku. The rest took Goku and Dragon onto the ship and went to pick up their friends' bodies.
Bulma was yelling at Bulla for trying to be like Dragon, Bulla had tears in her eyes as Bulma yelled at her. Bull said "But Gohan was fighting!" Gohan turned green and Bulma looked at him with red eyes, he gulped and said "It was Krillin!" Krillin choked and waved his hands frantically, as Bulma beat him up. Dragon laughed but immediately covered his mouth and said "You're so beautiful! I love you so much!" Bulma blushed and calmed down a bit, Bulla giggled and gave Dragon a thumbs up.
A while later
Dragon and Goku were sitting in hospital beds as the rest left. Chi-Chi came by and said "Those damn kids went to Namek with Krillin and Bulma to revive the rest." Dragon and Goku grimaced and Chi-Chi delivered food before leaving. Yajirobe slipped in and fed the two Senzu beans, healing them up and the duo flew out of the hospital towards Capsule corp.
Dragon and Goku found Dr. Brief, who said that he had made a spaceship and added a gravity chamber up to 100x on the ship. The duo thanked him a flew off in the ship towards Namek while training in the gravity chamber and sparring together with Kaioken. Vegeta was going to Namek for the dragonballs and the rest were in danger, little did they know that, that was the least of their problems.
