She hated these kind of establishments. The kind that attracted the lowest of lifeforms. To her these kinds of places needed to be razed to the ground. But alas nothing she could do would ever change the fact that these places will always be around. As she entered the bar she got whistles and stares from the creatures inside. Orcs, Beast-kin, Humans. they disgusted her. If it was up to her she would draw her sword and kill everyone of them.
Spotting the person she came here for in the corner, she headed his direction. The man stood out to say the least. Long shaggy white hair, hetero-chromatic eyes. The left a vibrant blue, the right a deep purple. As she walked over to him she made her displeasure clear. "Baligant why must we meet in such a place. you know how I feel about them". The man now identified as Baligant gave a light chuckle. "Come now Tamara don't be so harsh. The fellows know better than to to try anything".
Tamara sighed. "What did you call me here for Baligant. You know I don't have time to indulge your whims". He took out a cigarette and lit it up. "The truth is Tamara i found something. Far deep in the northern mountains". she looked at him with anger in her gaze. "Damn it Baligant I've told you those mountains are off limits! Do you know what the angels will do if they found out you were out there. Not to mention me if they find out I'm having this conversation with you!"
Baligant gave her a hush motion hoping she would get the point this conversation was supposed to be on the quiet side. "Look Tamara I had permission to be there but thing I wanted to talk you about was what I found". She sighed. this human warlock never ceased to exasperate her. "If it's so important why didn't you inform the other angels".he looked at her and answered, "I don't trust the other angels".
She looked at him. To be honest his expression scared her. It's not because it was a scary one. No. It was because it was a serious one. She had seen this man fight a dragon king with a smile on his face. but now it was gone. Replaced by an expression of fear and seriousness. "Fine what did you find". He looked at her and motioned her to come forward. she leaned in and when she did he started whispering to her. "To be one hundred percent Tamara I'm not sure myself. But I'll start from the beginning".
"I had asked the angels permission to visit the northern mountains. I was in need of frost lotus and the only place it grows is on the mountain of desolation. They agreed as long as I agreed to an escort. So I did. Now I know what the mountain of desolation does to anything living. The curse on that mountain placed by the demon avatar. So I wanted to get in and out. But even I couldn't foretell what was going to happen".
"When we arrived at the summit I could tell something wasn't right. Now don't get me wrong I've been to the summit before but never have I ever felt so unsettled as that day. Something just felt.... off. That's when it happened. the curse took hold of my escort. I myself nearly couldn't believe it. never have i seen the curse convert someone, let alone an angel, so quickly. She attacked me blindly and in doing so a sink hole had opened and we fell in".
"When I had awoke after however much time passed I noticed we were in an underground chamber. Thankfully the angel was unconscious so I subdued her with some magic. That's when I noticed something calling out to me". Tamara looked at him confused. "Calling you?", he nodded. "It wasn't calling my name. Hell i didn't even hear a voice. It was like some higher power was calling out to me. When I investigated that's when I found it". Tamara asked him one last question. "What did you find"? He took a long drag from his cigarette. Then he answered, "Something even the avatars should fear".
