Chapter 33: Busted
"Umm Mom Dad relax I can explain" said Annie
She looked at the worried, confused and angry faces of her Parents
"So Annie I think we are busted ,Unless you want me to use a memory wiping spell" said Curtis
"What memory wiping spell??" said Mr. and Mrs. Grey
"Stop joking around Curtis, be quiet and let me explain, you are not making anything better" said Annie
"Okay so this things name is Curtis right??" Asked Mrs. Grey
"Yes Mom dad I will start from the beginning" said Annie
"Okay Mom, Dad about a month ago I was walking home from school all mopey and everything when I got the spare key under the mat, and in the corner of my eye I saw a book and this book was not like any other that I had seen before, it looked old and had some dust on it.
The book had strange patterns on it, I the book move, so I became frightened I thought that I was seeing things but as I moved closer to open the book what happened next SHOCKED me
The book jumped up and flew into my arms, I was so scared but I opened the book anyway, My eyes grew wider as I scanned each word on the page.it could not be true, I started at the top and began to read it again
As I read the book there was a little Rhyme on the page that said;
''From two generations to another Each 15th birthday magic surfaces from one witch to another Annie grey it is your turn let the magic flow let it Burn''
I was shocked she did not believe, I felt like Dumbledore was about to appear with an owl and tell me that I has been accepted into Hogwarts.
Then SUDDENLY glass shattered everywhere, there was a loud noise and a very ugly man with a mole on his face had appeared he had crooked teeth and an evil smile, again I thought this could not be real ''it must be a dream" I said
then morning came I was back in bed and I had forgot everything that happened yesterday until I saw the same book from yesterday on My shelf" said Annie as it took almost an hour to explain and by that time it was already 10pm.
Mrs. Grey said "Annie you should go back to sleep now it's late and we will continue this talk tomorrow"
"Yes Annie and whatever this things name is is going to sleep in the shack outside" said a Aggressive Mr. Grey
"You don't have to worry Dad , Curtis sleeps in the Basement" Said Annie
"Well I don't care this thing has to be outside who knows what he actually is and what it has been up too" said Mr. Grey
"Well Curtis you heard them please sleep in the shack outside tonight Goodnight Curtis, Goodnight Mom and Dad" said Annie as she was sad
"Goodnight Annie" said Curtis with a sad look as he left Annie's room
He could but he could not help but laugh at these silly humans.
