"Ughhh," a low groan escaped her lips as the sleep faded away and she could feel a headache. She opened her eyes but instantly closed them as the glaring light blinded her vision.

Katie rubbed her eyes with her free hand, then slowly opened them. Firstly, her eyes blankly stared at the unfamiliar roof. She tilted her head to the side and an unimaginably beautiful face of Lucian entered her vision.

With a fuzzy brain, she subconsciously lifted her hand and touched his cheeks.

The touch felt so real. Their faces were close and it was easy to see every fine line of his face.

This must be a dream. Katie thought to herself.

How can she have the privilege to be this close to him?

But soon the man in front of her opened his eyes and her brown eyes met with his dark ones.

"Enjoying the view?" Lucian slowly asked in a husky voice.

Katie's eyes widened at first and then she shook her head.
