Chapter 13: Such a view
"Raven...." He muttered, with a smile on his face, this turned out to be a great idea joining this team that is.
not wasting this he followed behind his new team all heading to the giant 'T' shaped tower in the distance.

Now sitting in a large room with sofa's places in a semi-circle and at the gap upfront, there is a monitor a large monitor or show we say TV and under said TV there is a circular control panel but that is not important what is important is that Domiel was being interrogated.
"Look I already said it how it is, I am your new teammate." Domiel heaved a heavy sigh.
He was currently seated on one of the sofas and he was surrounded by the others who were seated facing the monitor.
Robin stood up and walked towards the control panel, which was the circular thingy, he tapped a few buttons and a hologram fused itself into the TV, he was calling someone.
"I'll call Nightwing to confirm your identity- what's your name again?" He looked so serious when he spoke but turned into a tomato when he forgot the victim's name.
"Domiel, my name is Domiel, I have a feeling you don't like me very much, cause if you did it would be very hard to forget my name, why? cause it's not hard to remember." Domiel although not angry was irritated because he is royalty and his name is simple, so having nobody with the dignity of forgetting his name is like a crime.
"You are correct, I don't like you, you come in unannounced with that stupid silver glowing head of yours and that dumb smile, it's like you are trying to pick a fight with me so let me remind you that I am the leader." Robin folded his arm and pouted his lips while sneering at Domiel but it is obvious from the way his pupils move to Starfire for a moment show that he was looking for a reaction out of her but failed to get it so that is where the sneering came from.
*Zwwwish*
-Robin what is the problem.-
"Nightwing is he the new team member you spoke of?" Robin questions paying full attention to the monitor but taking some glances at Domiel.
-Yes that is the new member I spoke off, his name is Domiel no last name, he was dropped off to me from batman, according to what I am reading here, it said that he came from the beam of light that was on the news 2 weeks ago, meaning he is not human, or maybe he is a meta it does not matter just welcome him and keep him out of trouble, I trust you can do that.-
*Zwwwish*
"See I told you-" Domiel was about to gloat some more but-
"Shut up" Robin was embarrassed and angry at the fact that Nightwing somehow always ends the call on him and not the other way round, 'I'll get him soon.'
Robin turned around to leave and as he reached the door he turn towards Raven, "show round the tower and show him his room." he left after that, and the reason he gave the job to Raven is that she is the strongest one on the team.
With a heavy *Sigh* Raven floated up and floated to the door she stopped and turned her head towards Domiel, "You coming?" her mellow groggy voice echoed through the room.
"Yes," Domiel answered as he too floated off the sofa and moved towards Raven following right behind her.

"This here is the garage," Raven spoke unbothered to look behind as she wasted no time moving towards the next attraction.
"Don't you get hot in that?" Domiel all of a sudden decided to start a convo.
"no." Answered Raven without pause in her stature.
"Are you sure? like you do sweat right?" Domiel question for he was genuinely curious.
"I don't get hot or cold, I'm not human, might as well tell you now since you are in the team." Raven has already passed the point of carry about what people think of her, after all, she has found her true friends, the people she can call family.
"Oh...me too," Domiel replied with no change in his curiosity towards Raven.
When he said that Raven stopped and stared at him as if he were an idiot, "Yeah, humans don't fall from light beams." she answered and started moving once more.
"yeah I know I just wanted-" Domiel wanted to clarify that he was only trying to relate.
"This is the emergency exit," she spoke in a monotone voice.
"Has anyone ever told you your voice is soothing?" Domiel asked and clearly, he had no idea he was flirting for he has never done so before.
"No...but thanks," Raven replied honestly after all she isn't some heartless monster, at least she tries not to be.
They floated for some time and ended up in an elevator going up, to the very top.
"where are we heading now?" Domiel has been on this tour for soo long that not it has become boring, he is thankful that Raven did not waste time cause if she did they would be here for one or more days.
"We are heading to the roof."
"Do you ever take off the cloak?" Asked Domiel once more.
"sometimes." Answered Raven honestly, she does not hate Domiel so having a conversation isn't bad.
___________Domiel P.O.V____________
I have been trying to figure her out, I am drawn to her for some reason and I don't know if it is only me.
All I can see is her face and eyes and all I can hear is her voice, every time she speaks it draws my attention, I focus on every detail and for some reason focus on her voice it somehow makes me feel calm, whenever I look at her face, her smooth spotless face, her pale white skin seems to resonate with me, I don't know what the ruby is for but it suits her, then her eyes her beautiful indigo eyes that never fail to draw me in, I can't a read on her, I can't tell what she is thinking at all and that just makes me even more curious about her.
__________General P.O.V___________
What Domiel does not know is that his emotions are projecting themselves onto Raven and Raven felt it all, his infatuation with her she could feel it all, a sort of crimson red emotional energy leaked a bit from Domiel into Raven and it caused Raven into surprise which made her blush for a moment, she hid it well from Domiel since he was clearly in his own world.
"Why am I drawn to you?" Domiel snapped out of it and questioned immediately his guard up.
"How am I supposed to know? maybe you are just a pervert." Raven replied sarcastically.
"Hahaha, that's impossible." Domiel answered as a matter of factly because 'angels can not be perverts', he thinks.
"Sure....we are here," Raven spoke as they climbed a ladder leading up.
"Whoa!!! This is magnificent!!!" In shock Domiel lost his composure at the beautiful scenery in front of him, the view was majestic, and the sky was just perfect mixed in with the sunset was a whole new world to Domiel who was used to clouds and more clouds.
Domiel walked forward to get a better view of the landscape and to get a feel for the wind. Raven walked towards the edge of the tower and sat with her legs over the edge.
She had a little smile on her face watching Domiel's reaction, in some way it was cute, but she shook her head to get such thoughts out.
"Do you guys see things like this every day?" Asked Domiel with excitement written all over his face.
"Yeah," Raven answered nonchalantly but Domiel did not seem to care, his true focus was Saverin the colourful view.
"I am starting to like this place more and more!" Domiel was being honest after all he had been in a very plain and boring location for a while now, at first it was amazing but later on, it became 'meh,' but now he could finally understand why his uncle and father love this place.
[yeah sorry if it lacks the spice the other chapter had, I am trapped in work no joke, so bare with my terrible descriptions and grammar for now...Thanks for reading]
