Chapter 89: Ch 90: Bringing a Man back

When Lisa returned to her usual self at work, the team's sigh of relief echoed, validating their feelings and understanding. 

When Lisa was exhausted, they all felt on edge. This caused their leader to come around more often, making the cafe workers work harder.

But they had not seen Alpha Rose all day yesterday, and she was nowhere to be seen today. This meant that business was going on as usual.

Along with Emma, another familiar duo had not stopped by for the past few days (much to the non-human staff's relief), but today seemed to be an exception.

After a week of not showing up, Officer Justin and his partner opened the cafe's door and threw themselves on the table.

"Lisa, we need coffee! Any kind would do, as long as it would keep us awake. I feel like I am about to crash and burn these past few days."

Officer Justin complained as Lisa placed his coffee on the table before him.
