Emma Rose's voice, a soothing melody in the chaos, washed over Lisa like a wave of relief. It was as if a heavy burden had been lifted, and she found herself leaning against the comforting presence before her.

The sudden presence of a werewolf made the two vampires wary, and the bloodlust aimed at Lisa seconds before disappearing.

"We are following the treaty! That girl entered our den, so we are within our rights to hunt her! As long as she does not have a mark of another, we can do what we want."
