Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Hotel Chats

We all had our backs to each other, staring down all of the plants and bugs around us.

“Dudes, I’m starting to freak out a little bit. Are they caving in on us?” Grayson said as his breathing became faster. As soon as that question left his mouth, one of the trees starting to swing around its branches. We kept dodging them until one picked up Matt and Grayson.

"It's got me! Ben, help us stop this thing!" Grayson screamed while Matt kept kicking and punching the branch holding him.

"I'll try, hang on!" I told them as I ran over to the base of the tree and hugged it. It's probably just afraid that it's in danger so I figured it would calm down after a hug. After a few minutes of Matt and Grayson still panicking and yelling, they were dropped back down to the ground and the tree became still again.

"Thanks, man. I thought we were gonna get thrown or eaten or something." Matt said.
